మూడు దశాబ్దాల సినిజీవితంలో, దాదాపు రెండు దశాబ్దాలు చిరంజీవి ఆడిందే ఆటగా, పాడిందే పాటగా, చేసిందే డాన్సుగా తెలుగు వెండితెర వెలుగులు చిమ్మింది. రెండు సంవత్సరాల రాజకీయ జీవితం మాత్రం దీనికి పూర్తిగా విరుద్ధంగా ముగిసింది. రఫ్ఫాడించేస్తానన్న చిరంజీవి ఇప్పుడు హస్తం పార్టీతో చేతులు కలిపేసాడు. ఇంతవరకూ, ఎవరి విశ్లేషణలు వారు చేసుకొని, చివరికి చిరంజీవి ప్రజాదోహ్రం చేసాడని ఆరోపిస్తున్నాయి అన్ని పార్టీలు.
విచిత్రం ఏమిటంటే, గత ఎన్నికలలో గెలుచుకుంది 18 అసెంబ్లీ సీట్లే అయినా, 16 శాతం వరకు ఓట్లను చీల్చగలిగింది ప్రజారాజ్యం. తను బాగుపడిందేదీ లేకపోయినా, మా పొట్టలను కొట్టింది ఈ ప్రజారాజ్యం అని అప్పట్లో చంద్రబాబు, రాజశేఖర్ రెడ్డిలు వాపోయారు కూడా. సామాజిక న్యాయమే పరమార్ధంగా పెద్దయెత్తున మొదలైన ప్రజారాజ్యం ఈరోజు చతికిలపడటానికి కారణం ఏమిటి? రాజకీయ పరిణతి లేని చిరంజీవా? వ్యాపారంతో రాజకీయాలు చేయాలనుకుని ఒంటెద్దు పోకడలతో పార్టీని నడిపిన బావమరిదా? ఉన్న పార్టీలలో ఉనికి ఏమాత్రమూ లేకపోయినా, పదవుల కోసం ప్రజారాజ్యంలోకి పాక్కుంటూ వచ్చిన పాత నాయకులా?

The only answer to all your questions is
"Chiranjeevi is not a Leader". He has no leadership qualities (e.g. like Jagan, YSR, Babu or TRS leader).
All the time some one has to guide/lead/direct him. He only follows what others ask him to do.
For example, the following persons guide/lead/direct him in his whole life:
1) Allu Ramalingaiah (who spotted him and promoted)
2) Allu Aravind (who is the business master mind)
3) Movie Directors/Producers
4) Political leaders who joined his party
5) Finally Sonia and other Congress leaders
And one last observation: From the beginning (in his mind or soul) he was a congress party person. It may be due to historical alliance of his Caste (Kapu) with Congress Party. The other reason is the strong political alliance between dominant Reddy Caste who controls Congress in AP and numerical Kapu Caste who are happy with that alliance. So naturally Chiranjeevi sided with Congress Party dominated by Reddy Caste.
Note: The words Caste, Reddy and Kapu are used to put forward to analyze the subject matter only. You can substitute those with other words like BJP, TDP, CPI, CPM, Brahmin, Kamma etc. Hope you got the message.
