గొల్లపూడి గారు "శివ.. శివా..." అన్న శీర్షికతో వ్రాసిన వ్యాసంలో షారూఖ్ లాంటి ఓ అమాయక నట చక్రవర్తిపై, ఓ ముసలి రాజకీయ గూండా బాల్ థాక్రే ఎలా దౌష్ట్యాన్ని, దౌర్జన్యాన్ని ప్రదర్శించారో వివరించారు. ఇది చదివిన తర్వాత, 'మనం మనం సినిమావాళ్ళం' అన్న ఉద్దేశ్యంతో వ్రాసినట్లే కనిపిస్తున్నది కానీ, తులనాత్మక పరిశీలన, విచక్షణ అణుమాత్రం కూడా కనిపించట్లేదు. ఆయన అభిప్రాయాలు ఎంత అసమంజసంగా ఉన్నాయో చెప్పాలని ఈ వ్యాసం వ్రాస్తున్నా కానీ, అక్కడ బాల్ థాక్రేని గొల్లపూడి గారు ఆక్షేపించినట్లు ప్రముఖులపై రాయి వేసి, పది మంది దృష్టిని ఆకర్షించాలనే ప్రయత్నంతో మాత్రం కాదని ముందుగానే మనవి చేస్తున్నా.
గొల్లపూడిగారు విస్మరించిన ఓ రెండు ముఖ్యమైన విషయాలు :

ReplyDeleteThere was no such Thakery's threat but still Mumbai attack took place! Pune bombings has nothing to do with his threat or Police. Such things happen and happened in the past and are beyond anyone's control, though with tough intelligence some can be prevented.
Your arguement clearly points - Had Bal Thakery not threatened, there was no need for Police to divert forces. If you say why Police should care for Sharukh's movie.. it is not Sharukh or Jr.NTR, is it not duty of Police to protect against known threat?!
Coming to Pakistan: Diplomatically, it is not wise to ignore Pakistan. Whether we like it or not he is our (rogue) neighbour and we have to live with it( geographically at least!). No need to hug them for everything, but it is better to keep an eye on them than to shut our doors completly and let them do whatever they want! Carrot &stick policy is the best option! :) I mean.. we should not restrict our options of future actions!
Anyway, Sharukh's incident is not fit for such nation-level brick-bats as what he did is not against prevailing rules of the land.
