Book Release Report by Dr. Vaidehi Sasidhar :
On April 2nd 2010 at 6 pm, my father, Sri.C.Subba Rao’s book, “Talks and Articles” was launched at the tastefully decorated Mini Conference Hall in the famous Ravindra Bharathi complex in Hyderabad. Prof.C.Subba Rao, former Chairman of the Council of Higher Education ,the Govt.of Andhra Pradesh, presided over the function. Prof I.V.Chalapathi Rao, former Registrar of the Central Institute of English and Foreign Languages and also Chief Editor of Triveni at present, was the distinguished Chief Guest, who launched the Book. Prof.S.S.Prabhakar Rao, former JNTU professor was the Guest of Honour. I had the privilege and good fortune of sharing the stage with these stalwarts as one of the speakers and as another Guest of Honour (I had written the Foreword for my father’s book). Of course, my father was on the stage immaculately dressed as usual on such formal occasions.

The meeting commenced with an invocation to Lord Ganesha rendered melodiously in the classical style bringing out all the devotional aura of the Sloka by my brother-in-law Sri.Chaitanya.Then came the launching of the book by Prof I.V.Chalapathi Rao.
